Great Wine Walk

While the Wine Mainz partner events are reserved for trade visitors, the Great Wine Walk is open to everyone – giving wine lovers the chance to discover some of Germany’s finest wines this weekend.

Following its debut in 2024 and its successful continuation last year, the “Great Wine Walk” will take place again in Mainz in 2026. On Saturday, April 25, 2026 – the weekend of the VDP.Weinbörse – the Saturday stroll through downtown Mainz will be combined with an exclusive wine tasting at local retailers.

 

Between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., with a “Great Wine Walk” ticket, you can stroll through downtown Mainz, sample exquisite wines, and immerse yourself in the unique offerings and services of the participating retail stores.

 

Tickets will be available starting April 2 for 25 euros each at the mainz STORE (Markt 17 / Domplatz, 55116 Mainz, Mon–Sat 10 a.m.–6 p.m.) and online at www.mainz-store.com

 

Included are 20 tasting samples, a high-quality Zwiesel wine glass, a practical wine glass shoulder bag, and free use of public transportation on the day of the event.
