Four associations, three days and one city for top-quality German wines. In April, Mainz becomes a must-visit destination for wine professionals from all over the world. Together, we join forces to raise the profile of Germany's finest wines and develop them with a focus on the future. Four events, organised by renowned associations, further establish Mainz as the leading trade fair location for German wine and create a weekend that sets new standards.

What is
wine mainz?
The VDP.Weinbörse, VINVIN from Maxime Herkunft Rheinhessen and Weinland Nahe e.V., the Biodynamic Wine Fair and the Sektbörse of traditional sparkling wine producers each focus on the individual strengths of the associations. The topics range from origin and terroir to biodynamic viticulture and sparkling wine produced using traditional bottle fermentation.
On Saturday, 25 April 2026, the VINVIN trade fair for origin wines and the Biodynamic Wine Fair will take place in the Alte Postlager, while the Sektmacher (sparkling wine producers) invite visitors to the Kurfürstliches Schloss.
On Sunday and Monday (26/27 April), the VDP.Prädikatsweingüter (VDP) will open the doors of the Rheingoldhalle for the 52nd Weinbörse (Wine Exchange). A trip to Mainz, in the heart of Germany's wine-growing regions, is an opportunity to experience what distinguishes Germany's winegrowers from North to South: expertise, individuality and diversity. In addition, visits to wineries are available, which the individual associations are happy to help organise.
On Saturday evening, all four associations will come together for a party at the Altes Postlager: wine, music and street food. In addition to the "Partners in Wine" event for end customers, there will be a VIP area for guests attending the individual events. Please register for the specific event you wish to attend.
